Why Confirmation? – This formative process is designed to help middle school students learn more about the Lutheran tradition and the Bible. By learning about the Old and New Testament, they are able to develop their own story of faith and claim the promise made for them at Holy Baptism.
Confirmation Program: – Classes meet Wednesday evenings (September – May) from 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. from 6th – 8th grade. In these three years, students will learn about the Ten Commandments, Lord’s Prayer, Apostles’ Creed, Old Testament stories, New Testament stories, and the Life of Jesus. Class nights. Class nights are alternated with small group fellowship/service nights and family nights.

Students are encouraged to attend worship (9:00 AM). There are lots of opportunities to assist during worship, which is part of he confirmation requirements. Students also have the opportunity to assist in the Sunday School classrooms during Education Hour. Talk to Pastor for more information!
Throughout the year different retreats, and outings are offered. We are committed to helping our youth develop strong friendships based around Christian fellowship. We have a lot of fun together! Some of these opportunities include: confirmation camp, youth quake, lock-ins, and fellowship events (bowling, lasertag, brewers games, mini golf, etc.)
