The death of a baptized Christian, one who has lived in the communion of the church, is an occasion for thanksgiving and the proclamation of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  For us, ministry at the time of death is  holistic and includes time for reflection, support, and prayer before and after the actual funeral service.

Funeral services will utilize the wording approved by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and will include prayers and the reading of scripture chosen by the bereaved and approved by the Pastor. Music for the ceremony will be appropriate for a worship experience and must be approved by the organist and/or Pastor.
